Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the public website at tenvio.email and interactions related to the Tenvio controlled onboarding. As the service develops, this policy may be updated to describe new product functionality and data practices.

Information you provide

If you contact Tenvio through the website form, the information in your request—such as your email address, name, topic, and message—is received and used to respond to you, evaluate beta interest, operate the service, or investigate a reported issue.

Please do not submit passwords, API keys, or other secrets.

Technical information

The web server may temporarily process standard request logs needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site. These logs may include an IP address, requested path, timestamp, user agent, referrer, and response status. Retention is limited to what is reasonably useful for operations and security.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The theme control stores a single preference in your browser’s local storage so the site can remember whether you chose light or dark mode. This preference stays on your device and is not transmitted as part of an analytics system.

Controlled onboarding data

The service processes your login identity, hashed credentials and session tokens, API-key metadata, domain and sender configuration, recipient and message metadata, delivery events, and operational or abuse-prevention records. Raw API-key secrets are shown only when created or rotated. Message text or HTML is encrypted while needed for delivery and is not returned by status APIs; metadata and events remain available until their retention boundary. Tenvio does not claim any certification or regulatory status that has not been explicitly documented.

Sharing and disclosure

Information may be processed by infrastructure providers where necessary to operate the website or beta service. It may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to protect users or infrastructure, investigate abuse, comply with lawful requests, or enforce applicable terms. Tenvio does not sell personal information.

Security and retention

Reasonable technical and operational measures are used to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Customer-visible delivery history is retained for 14 days on Free and 30 days on Custom. At expiry, the lifecycle removes encrypted payloads and delivery history and irreversibly clears subject, To/Cc/Bcc addresses, sender display metadata, and attachment filenames from the submission tombstone. Minimal opaque usage and invoice evidence can remain for accounting; bounded incident evidence can remain for security and fraud response. An explicit legal hold pauses deletion only for the held submission and is audited. Information is otherwise retained only as long as necessary for operations or legal obligations.
